Facts about Larvik HK
Larvik HK was founded on 31 May 1990. Larvik has played in the top division since 1992/93. The first season Larvik were close to relegation, but won both qualifiers. The breakthrough came the following season, as Larvik won the league title and played the Norwegian Cup final.
Larvik is the strongest team in Norwegian women's handball. Our strongest opponent is currently Byåsen. Larvik har won the EHF Cup Winners' Cup twice. Larvik has won the national league 12 times, and is national champions ten times.
The last time Larvik lost a national league match at home was on 14 March 1999.
